From your online presence to your employees – how can your business be more helpful? Our strategy is to send out tips and articles regularly, designed to help other small businesses with their marketing. Here is one of my experiences, from the other side of the transaction. Just over a year ago, I was in the market for a car. I was thinking about a hybrid, but I had heard a lot of negative info about them. Everything from high priced battery replacement to poor handling in the snow. So, I called up local hybrid experts, Buffalo Motor Works, with some questions. They were helpful. They were incredibly helpful. By the end of that conversation I had been given a full hybrid education and there was very little chance that I was going anywhere else to buy my vehicle. That conversation itself was so valuable that I wanted to do business Buffalo Motor Works. And I’m not the only one to have this experience. These guys have all five star reviews on Google. Many of them using words like friendly, helpful and expertise. This is what being helpful can do for your business.
How can you be more helpful to your customer base? Could they use pointers on the best uses of your product or service? Info on why they might need it in the first place? Tips and tricks on something related to your field?
Takeaway – Be helpful to potential customers and other professionals to build your expert status and make more sales.
