We recently teamed up with our friend Paul Greiner of ALS Consulting to create a quick turn-around video to promote an upcoming event. We ran a successful two week Guaranteed Views campaign leading up to the event using several types of targeting methods.

They included:

– 20 mile radius of the event
– Demographic target by age
– Target by affinity audience (a group of people linked by a common interest or purpose)
– Placement targeting (on specific YouTube channels or videos, websites or apps)

We achieved great success using placement targeting in particular. Paul’s videos were placed as pre-roll ads on Gary Vaynerchuk’s YouTube Channel, a well known entrepreneur, investor, and public speaker that appeared as a judge for last years 43 North business competition. Paul’s promo video gained great attention through this placement, producing over 100 click-throughs on it’s way to surpassing our 2,000 view goal.
